LAVENDER Tea Recipe
Calming bedtime drink
INGREDIENTS:
1 tsp lavender
1 tsp chamomile
Optional: mint or lemon balm
INSTRUCTIONS: Steep in hot water for 5–10 minutes. Strain and sweeten if desired.
LAVENDER Melt & Pour Soap
INGREDIENTS:
1 lb melt & pour soap base (goat milk or shea butter works great)
1–2 tsp dried culinary lavender buds
10–15 drops lavender essential oil
Optional: 1 tsp vitamin E oil (for added skin nourishment)
INSTRUCTIONS:
Cut soap base into small cubes. Melt in microwave (in 30-second intervals) or double boiler. Stir in lavender essential oil and vitamin E. Add lavender buds and mix gently. Pour into silicone molds. Let cool and harden (about 1–2 hours). Remove from molds and store in a dry place
Tip: Lightly spray the top with rubbing alcohol to remove bubbles.
LAVENDER Moisturizing Lotion
(Light & Soothing)
INGREDIENTS:
½ cup coconut oil or shea butter
2 tbsp almond oil or jojoba oil
1 tbsp beeswax (for thickness)
10–15 drops lavender essential oil
Optional: 1 tsp vitamin E oil
INSTRUCTIONS: Melt coconut oil, beeswax, and almond oil in a double boiler. Remove from heat and let cool slightly. Stir in lavender essential oil and vitamin E. Let it cool until semi-solid, then whip with a hand mixer (optional for fluffy texture). Transfer to a clean jar
Use: Apply to dry skin, hands, or after showering.
