Fresh Parsley Salad
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup finely chopped fresh parsley
½ cup diced tomatoes
¼ cup diced cucumber
2 tbsp olive oil
Juice of 1 lemon
Salt & pepper to taste
INSTRUCTIONS:
Mix all ingredients in a bowl. Chill for 15 minutes and serve fresh.
Parsley Lemon Detox
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup water
2 tbsp fresh parsley
Juice of ½ lemon
Optional: 1 tsp honey
INSTRUCTIONS:
Blend or steep parsley in warm water, strain, then add lemon juice and honey. Drink fresh.
TIPS FOR USING PARSLEY:
Add fresh at the end of cooking to preserve nutrients. Store in the fridge like a bouquet (stems in water). Chop just before using for the best flavor
Parsley Garlic Butter
INGREDIENTS :
½ cup softened butter
2 tbsp chopped parsley
2 cloves garlic (minced)
Pinch of salt
INSTRUCTIONS:
Mix well and spread on bread, vegetables, or meats.
Parsley Potatoes
INGREDIENTS:
2 cups boiled potatoes
2 tbsp butter or olive oil
2 tbsp chopped parsley
Salt & pepper to taste
INSTRUCTIONS:
Toss warm potatoes with butter, parsley, and seasoning. Serve immediately.
NOTE:
Parsley is generally safe in food amounts, but large medicinal quantities may not be suitable for pregnant individuals or those with kidney conditions.
