Hibiscus Recipes
INGREDIENTS:
4 cups water
1/2 cup dried hibiscus flowers
2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
1 orange & 1 lemon, sliced
Ice cubes ~ Fresh mint
INSTRUCTIONS:
Bring water to a boil.
Remove from heat and add hibiscus flowers.
Steep for 10–15 minutes.
Strain and stir in honey. ~ Chill completely.
Serve over ice with citrus slices and mint.
Hibiscus Berry Wellness Syrup
Uses:
Stir into sparkling water. ~ Drizzle over pancakes. ~ Add to yogurt. ~ Mix into lemonade.
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup dried hibiscus flowers
2 cups water
1 cup mixed berries
3/4 cup honey
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
INSTRUCTIONS:
Simmer hibiscus, berries, and water for 20 minutes.
Mash berries gently. Strain through a fine mesh sieve.
Stir in honey and vanilla.
Cool and store in the refrigerator.

3 cups brewed hibiscus tea, cooled
1 cup fresh lemon juice
1/3 cup honey or sugar
2 cups cold water ~ Ice
